Favorite Doctor + Rose Moments: 11/∞

The Daleks, whilst rigid and uniform, have made great technological strides in their pursuit of domination. For example, Daleks of the Time War era were capable of shedding the orbs on their casing and using them as bombs, and Daleks of the Rassilon era cracked the secret of time travel.
Daleks were once known to create “Robomen” by brainwashing beings in to acting as their slaves and augmenting them with rudimentary Dalek technology. Sometime during the formation of The Alliance, an association of various races who attempted to trap the Doctor in the “Pandorica” to prevent the total event collapse of the universe, the Daleks seem to have assimilated some Cyberman technology with this practice. Now, Daleks are capable of deploying nanoclouds - clouds of subatomic machines - that are capable of completely hollowing out a body and replacing the insides with Dalek technology. These “Dalek Puppets” retain the memories of the person who once was, but are otherwise mere robotic slaves that the Daleks can control. They appear unchanged on the outside and can even go on believing their condition to be unchanged as though they were still living, making them perfect sleeper agents. Once activated, a Dalek eyestalk may appear from the forehead. Furthermore, Dalek gunsticks can be deployed from the hands. In an emergency, “total conversion” may take place and the victim may become a full Dalek drone. This technology is similar to the Cybermats and Cybermites of the Cybermen, which are also capable of converting fleshy organisms into members of the augmented species which created them.

…and I always will be.

Dalek visual displays tend to be circular for optimum viewing via their eyestalk.
